FAQs
Straight answers.
The questions businesses ask before working with Apyx, answered plainly. If yours is not here, ask it directly.
01How much does a website cost? Most asked
Smaller brochure sites start from around £500, business websites from £1,000 and advanced or e-commerce builds from £2,000. Those are starting points, not packages. Every project is quoted individually once we understand what the site needs to do, and the quote is fixed before work starts.
02How long does it take?
A focused brochure site or landing page can be live within a few weeks. Larger business sites and online shops take longer, mostly because there is more content to get right. The timeline is agreed at the start and you see real work at every stage, so there are no long silences.
03Do you use templates?
No. Every site is designed around the business, its customers, its industry and what it needs to sell. That is why the work on this site looks so different from one project to the next. Where a business needs a platform such as Shopify, the design is still built specifically for that business rather than picked from a theme store.
04What do I need to provide?
Your logo and any brand files, the facts about the business, photography if you have it, and access to your current domain. Content can be written with you if you do not have it. Anything that has not been confirmed goes in as a visible placeholder rather than being invented.
05Which platform will it be built on?
It depends on what the business needs. Sites are hand-built as fast, static code where that is the right answer, which is most brochure and business sites. Where you need to run a shop or edit content yourself, it is built on a platform such as Shopify or Squarespace and designed so it still looks like nobody else.
06I already have a website. Do I need to start again?
Usually not from scratch. A redesign keeps what works, such as your name, brand and the things customers recognise, and rebuilds the presentation, structure and usability around it. Old page addresses are redirected so search rankings and links are kept.
07Will it work on mobile?
Yes, and not as an afterthought. Mobile layouts are designed deliberately with their own order, spacing and interactions, because for most businesses that is where the majority of visitors arrive.
08Can you help with Google?
Every site is built properly for search: sensible page titles and descriptions, clean structure, fast loading, a sitemap and the technical basics done right. Nobody honest can promise rankings, so Apyx does not. What you get is a site that is built to be found and measured so you can see what is working.
09What happens after launch?
Two options. A one-off handover sets you up to look after the site yourself. Or the Business Care plan, from £149 a month, keeps it hosted, monitored, backed up and updated, with an hour of small content changes each month.
10Will I own the website?
Yes. Your domain, your content and your site are yours. If you are on a management plan you can leave with reasonable notice and take the site with you.
11Where are you based?
Apyx is UK based and works with businesses across the country and internationally. Most of the work happens remotely, with calls and screen-shares at each stage, so location has never been a barrier.
