Yorkshire Green Team
A qualified landscaper with five-star reviews and a website that browsers flagged as unsafe.

The situation
The founder is a qualified landscaper and bricklayer with a five-star rating, but the website dated from 2017 and its security certificate had lapsed, so visitors met a browser warning before they saw any work.
Design direction
Their own logo and gallery photographs, the brand green, and bold condensed headlines that suit a trade business. Built to show the work first and make quoting easy.

Designed for the phone first, not squeezed to fit it.
Most of the audience will meet the site on a phone. The mobile layouts are designed deliberately, with their own order, spacing and interactions.

UX approach
Gallery, services, reviews, quote. Nothing in the way.
What was delivered
A homepage concept with desktop and mobile versions, presented as a free redesign concept. This was not commissioned work.
About this concept. This was designed as a free redesign concept to show the business what its website could be. It was not commissioned, and the business has not endorsed it. The name, logo and photography belong to the business.
